Passing on a little of what people say about us!

Thanks for the great job the band did at our July Florence After Five in downtown Florence. You are truly a professional sounding and acting group of musicians and it was a pleasure to have you at our event. We look forward to having Grains of Sand for a return performance at a future event.

Florence after 5 - Florence, South Carolina - July 2015

What a great way to begin our 2015 concert season! The Grains of Sand Band played the music we grew up with and provided opportunities for singing along and dancin' the night away. Their mix of Beach, Soul and Motown kept our crowd energized and talking about the band long after their last song. The GOSB is highly professional and were easy to work with from the initial contact to the actual concert night. I highly recommend them if you want good music from the 60's, 70's a a bit from the 50's. Good instrumentation and vocals. If you hire them, you'll be pleased.

Folks, the Grains of Sand put on one of the BEST show's I have seen in a long, long time. I have seen many bands perform over the span of some 40+ years, I rank the Grains of Sand up there with the best I have ever seen.

The Jesters sold out the the Georgia Theatre Friday night, May 30, and they filled up the stage, with the help of musician friends Grains of Sand (among others), in their farewell performance after 50 years of bringing musical delight to their fans, many of whom have been with them since high school. The show raised a phenomenal $41,000, according to Grains of Sand Sax Player,  Donny Whitehead, who spearheaded the effort. Proceeds go to fellow Jester Harold Williams, the popular musician/CPA debilitated by a paralyzing fall in November.
